Manufacturing of Prostheses/Orthoses

To begin the process, schedule your first consultation with a prosthetist/orthotist by calling +386 41 463 660 or emailing info@orto-protetika.com.

If you are comfortable using modern electronic devices, the first consultation can also be organized online.

During the first meeting, you will present your condition, wishes, and expectations. If you have a medical report from the doctor who most recently prescribed your device, please bring it with you. It is also important to bring your current or most recently used prosthesis/orthosis.

Based on the assessment, the prosthetist/orthotist will prepare a proposal for manufacturing a new device and present a work plan and approximate timeline. If you have a ZZZS order form for the device and decide to proceed with us, you will submit it at the measurement appointment.

The manufacturing process requires at least three meetings: measurement, fitting, and delivery. Often, due to complexity or specific user requirements, additional fittings are carried out to ensure the device is manufactured as prescribed and adapted to your specific characteristics, needs, and abilities.

If you have mobility limitations or no transportation options, certain phases of the process can be carried out at your home by agreement.
